Barry McCormick calls his work, Illusionary Photography. His images have a sharp sense of studio discipline acquired over his long and success career in New York as a studio photographer.
After retiring from commercial photography, McCormick moved to the southwest where the endless cloud-filled skies and unlimited vistas opened his mind to a totally new direction for his photography.
Barry is a partner in the Arte Loca Gallery (another website we designed). If you categorize the art they exhibit as right on the edge, you will also have a good description of McCormick’s evocative images.
The repeating background pattern is reminiscent of the grid etched on the frosted glass upon which the photographer observes the image though the lens. The color has the slightest tint of mauve to make the gray richer.

Gary learned my background and became aware of my work. I offered a little bit of input of what I liked and didn't like about other sitesand he took it from there. He's the professional - that's why I asked him to design my site.
I am very pleased with the clean simple and functional design. It is easy to navigate is free of unwanted "gimmicky" effects, and allows for quick access to all my images.
Once I gave him the oaky, the site was up and running before expected.
